We had the typical super tight newlywed budget and couldn't afford to go out and buy a lot of Christmas decorations, so we made due with what we had. Fast forward to a year ago and my grandma gave me a full size Christmas tree that she no longer needed. So now I had a tree but not nearly enough ornaments to fill it up. Our budget had not changed much {still hasn't} so I got creative and searched for ornaments that I could make for cheap that would still be cute and fit my style. You'd actually be surprised what you can come up with when it's your only option. I'm really excited to add these diy homemade cinnamon applesauce Christmas ornaments to the mix this year! Primitive, Classic, Traditional, Cutesy - You Choose The beauty of making your own Christmas ornaments and specifically homemade cinnamon ornaments is that you can make them any way you want. Any shape or style from plain stars to gingerbread men fully decked out for the holidays. I really love the snowflake ones! Also, you can customize your homemade ornaments to be exactly how you want if you're going for a certain style for your Christmas decorations. Planning a primitive tree? Cut your ornaments with traditional shaped cookie cutters and leave them undecorated. Blue and white? After your cinnamon cookie ornaments are dry, "frost" them with blue and white puff paint. The only limit to the possibilities is your imagination! Not only are these perfect for decorating the tree, you could use smaller cookie cutters and make adorable gift "tags" with them! Or string them together and make a festive, wonderful smelling diy Christmas garland. CLICK OVER TO THE BLOG POST AND PRINT THE DIRECTIONS: https://thislovelylittlefarmhouse.com...
