Join me on a long-distance train journey from Zürich to Amsterdam 🚆 This trip takes us across Switzerland, Germany, and into the Netherlands using three high-speed trains along the way. What should have been a smooth and efficient journey slowly turned into a more unpredictable travel day. We’re traveling together, enjoying the changing scenery outside from Swiss cities to the German countryside - while making our way north through Europe. Along the way, things don’t go exactly as planned. With delays, missed connections, and a bit of travel uncertainty between trains, the journey becomes longer than expected. By the time we finally arrive in Amsterdam, we’re almost three hours behind our original schedule — turning this into a much longer day of travel than anticipated.
