Be blessed as we worship and study God's Word together. 📖 Adult Sabbath School Lesson: Lesson 10 – Repentance and Forgiveness Quarterly Theme: Growing in a Relationship with God (2nd Quarter 2026) Memory Verse: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9 (NKJV) Summary: The journey of faith is marked by both stumbling and restoration. This week’s lesson looks at the powerful biblical themes of repentance and forgiveness—from the tragic story of the golden calf in Exodus 32‑34, to the persistent call of the prophets, and ultimately, to the perfect model found in Jesus Christ. Through these accounts, we are reminded that sin does not have to be the final word. The same God who confronted Israel in the wilderness also extended to them a covenant of mercy, foreshadowing the new covenant sealed in Christ’s blood. A Word of Encouragement Let Christ have first place in your heart today. The same grace that met Israel in the wilderness meets us here. Confession opens the door, and forgiveness floods in.
