Candy Cane Stiletto Christmas Nail Design | Glitter Planet

Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing fabulous. You guys know I mentioned doing a candy cane lane inspired nail design set, perfect for Christmas. So here I am !! Bringing you the most sassiest candy cane set of nails ever ever! 🎄 I started off by fist applying my nail tips which are the glitter planet easy tips (one of my faves) and then applying my clear base of acrylic so that I have a nice clean flat base to work on. I did some how forget to press record on part of my application video where I added the nude acrylic and some of the other bits which is a little annoying, but anyway I still managed to get most of the footage together for you guys and share with you the over all design that I created. Once I apply my colour and glitter powders as a base I am coming in and capping everything in crystal clear acrylic. I file and buff the nails off camera and get everything how I want it, making sure to remove excess dust from the nails aswell as this can make the top coat all bumpy if it gets caught when applying it. So removing dust is an important step. I applied my top coat and cured for 60seconds then rub on my red foil nail pigment - I could have done this over red acrylic or gel and it would have been much darker which I think I would have preferred. none the less it still looked cute. after I applied my pigment I top coated them and all of the other nails. added my hand painted candy cane swirls and sugared glitter onto them, I used 'princess' loose glitter for the sugaring. I then added the charms with clear acrylic and tada - thats it. A candy cane red Santa inspired set.
