Integrating API Platforms into Your Business

A talk given by Richard Jones from Dun & Bradstreet at the 2019 Platform Summit in Stockholm. APIs have traditionally been seen as a technology initiative, however for the success of API initiatives, they need to be an organizational program not just technology. Richard will present based on experiences working for a large global organization how they have integrated APIs into the daily fabric of the organization. The session takes the terms “Digital Transformation” and “API First” and illustrates how these phrases need to be more than just catchphrases, they need to be part of the vision for the organization. D&B has been in the API economy for nearly the last 20 years designing, building and running APIs products and have a huge knowledgeable bank of what has gone well and not so well!
