How to fix dead SiraTone and MC amplifiers
This is a quick video demonstration on how to diagnose and solve the most common issue found with SiraTone and MC audio amplifiers. Just like many other audio amps, the SiraTone and MC amps can often be found with dead output transistors, meaning the amp circuit is working flawlessly, but it's unable to output a signal. By diagnosing a dead transistor, you are able to replace it with a new one in the field, making service quick and easy, keeping the system running for much longer. This tutorial will demonstrate how to run through the process. Links to replacement transistors, model 2N5886: Mouser: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/...
