Peter Hook interview - 1986-06-21 - Loughborough University

Interview with Peter Hook by a couple of students at the Uni after their performance there. Received from someone who got it directly from them. The Loughborough show was a cancer benefit suggested by Andy Liddle (NO lighting guy) whose friend who perished due to cancer, as this reveals. Dehissed a bit for clarity, but still fairly rough quality. Admire Hooky for his fortitude answering this individuals, when the male half of the interview duo (a Southerner) at the get-go starts putting words in his mouth with a bunch of asinine questions. This also reveals the band would be going on tour with The Bunnymen, and would be playing Red Rocks in Denver which gets a special mention for the acoustics. Hooky offers the female half a lift on his motorbike after being asked about it. Who's going to win the World Cup (in 1986)? "Don't know, don't care." Forty years on...
