🔥 USPSA Competition Pistol Comparison: Sig Sauer P211 GT5 vs Kimber Stainless Steel Target 2K11 vs Glock 34 gen 5 vs Sig Sauer P320 X-Five Legion 🔥 Which competition pistol is right for you? In this video, I compare four popular 9mm (minor power factor) competition handguns across two of USPSA's most popular divisions: Carry Optics and Limited Optics. We take a detailed look at the Sig Sauer P211 GT5, Kimber 2K11 SS Target, Sig Sauer P320 X-Five Legion, and Glock 34 Gen 5 to see how they perform on the range and in competition settings. We'll discuss USPSA division requirements, competition upgrades, optics, triggers, recoil characteristics, accuracy, split times, and overall shooting impressions. If you're considering getting started in USPSA, Steel Challenge, GSSF, Shoot Sig, or practical shooting sports, this comparison may help you avoid costly mistakes and choose the platform that best fits your goals. Whether you're deciding between a steel-frame competition pistol, a 2011-style handgun, or a proven Carry Optics setup, this video provides real-world feedback from range testing and competition experience. 📌 In This Video: • Sig Sauer P211 GT5 Review & Competition Setup • Kimber 2K11 SS Target Review & Competition Setup • Glock 34 Gen 5 Carry Optics Setup • Sig P320 X-Five Legion Carry Optics Setup • USPSA Carry Optics Division Explained • USPSA Limited Optics Division Explained • Competition Upgrades and Modifications • Recoil Control and Return-to-Zero Comparison • Range Performance Testing • Which Competition Pistol Offers the Best Value? ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 USPSA Competition concerns and questions introduction 01:10 Why I Made This Comparison 02:05 Experience Competing and shooting different platforms 02:35 USPSA Carry Optics Division Explained 04:27 USPSA Limited Optics Division Explained 05:05 Sig P320 X-Five Legion Features 06:04 Glock 34 Gen 5 Features 07:01 Sig Sauer P211 GT5 & Kimber 2K11 Target SS Features 08:16 Competition Modifications & Optics 09:46 Sig X-Five Legion Range Performance 10:04 Sig X-5 Shooting footage 10:13 Kimber 2K11 Target SS Range Performance 10:18 Kimber 2K11 Shooting footage 10:34 Sig GT5 Shooting footage 10:36 Sig Sauer P211 GT5 Range Performance 10:43 Glock 34 Gen 5 Range Performance 10:47 Glock 34 Shooting footage 11:22 Which Competition Pistol Should You Buy? 13:46 Final Thoughts 🎯 Competition Equipment Featured: • Sig Sauer P211 GT5 using a Trijicon SRO 2.5 MOA red dot mounted with a Calculated Kinetics optic plate. Also installed are LOK Grips APS TAK raw brass grip panels. This firearm is also used in the "Sig Pistol Dot" division for Shoot Sig matches. • Kimber 2K11 Stainless Steel Target with a Holosun ACSS Vulcan reticle system mounted with a TAG Precision optic plate. Also installed is an MJD raw brass extended/flared magwell. • Sig P320 X-Five Legion also using a Trijicon SRO 2.5 MOA red dot mounted on a mounting plate. Sig Sauer has a direct (Sig-Lok) mount system if using the appropriate optic mount pattern. This firearm can also be used (with extended magwell) in the "Sig Pistol Dot" division for Shoot Sig matches. • Glock 34 Gen 5 mounted with a Vortex Defender XL red dot optic using the Vortex mounting plate included with the optic. Also installed is a Glock Performance Trigger, Ghost Angel Connector and Spring kit as well as an adjustable Johnny Glocks Vex trigger shoe. Other modifications I have performed include polishing all steel contacting surfaces internal to the trigger and slide (including firing pin). I have also relief cut the trigger guard, cut in a gas pedal on the frame and stippled the contacting surfaces on the frame. This pistol has been modified to compete in the "Unlimited" division for all Glock Sport Shooting Foundation (GSSF) matches. There are a lot of sources for competition gear and equipment that can be found online. Sources I like are Ghost, Double Alpha, Stoeger Pro Shop and Shooters Connection to name a few. I am happy to give more details if needed on gear options and resources, just send me a message and I get you the information. To find competition matches in your area, search online for the GSSF website and the Practice Score website. There you will find a lot of matches in your area or within driving distance to get started. If your new to the sport and want more info on what you should do to prepare, both websites offer a video link (or search here on YouTube) with helpful information. If you enjoy practical shooting, USPSA, Steel Challenge, firearm reviews, competition gear, optics installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and shooting sports content, consider subscribing for future videos.
