INVERSIONE DI MARCIA ALL'ESAME DI GUIDA - FACENDOLA COSI', NON POTRAI SBAGLIARE

WHAT I EXPLAIN IN THIS VIDEO CAN SUPPLEMENT, BUT NOT REPLACE, DRIVING LESSONS YOU CAN TAKE AT A DRIVING SCHOOL. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A LICENSE, WATCH THE VIDEO FOR USEFUL TIPS. FLYING VIDEO LINK:    • IL VOLANTE: ECCO COME GIRARLO CORRETTAMENT...   U-TURN Today we're going to focus on U-turns. I'll explain it step by step, and then, at the end of the video, I'll show you how to do it correctly, including all the steps, and at an appropriate speed. Before performing the U-turn, we must check that we're not in one of the situations where U-turns are prohibited. For example, don't do it if visibility is poor, or at or near intersections. Obviously, don't do this if you're on a one-way street or a two-way street with a continuous centerline. Obviously, don't do this on highways or in tunnels. It's generally possible on two-lane, two-way streets with an uneven centerline. But how do you perform a U-turn? Before starting the maneuver, you should have stopped by pulling over close to the right shoulder, no further, with your right turn signal on. Don't forget that turn signals are not optional, but are an integral part of all the precautions you should take to correctly execute the maneuver. Also remember that the maneuver must be performed while remaining on the roadway, so without climbing onto sidewalks, parking spaces, bike paths, hard shoulders, etc. And to perform the U-turn with as few maneuvers as possible, you should make the most of the available space. But... don't risk over-exploiting the space and overshooting, thus hitting walls, parked vehicles, etc. So, always perform your maneuvers while maintaining a safety margin. The maneuver must also be executed with a certain speed, because, during execution, the vehicle will occupy a large portion of the roadway, thus obstructing other vehicles in transit. The most important part of the entire maneuver is the last one: the check. Doing so will make the maneuver safe... and the examiner will surely be satisfied. Before setting off, we must therefore check that there are no other vehicles approaching, neither from in front nor from behind, neither from the right nor from the left. And be careful of cyclists, who are always difficult to see. The check should be done by looking ahead and, of course, behind with the rearview mirrors, but this will absolutely not be enough. Mirrors have blind spots that we can only cover with a direct gaze, that is, by turning our heads. If vehicles are approaching, we will wait and give them priority. Once the road is clear, we can set off, stopping before leaving the lane. And then? Again, the same four things we saw earlier: turn the wheels, but this time to the right, put it in reverse, no longer first, and activate the right turn signal, which is the same direction the wheels are turned. So, if you're ever unsure which turn signal to turn on, think about the direction the wheels are turned. If the wheels are turned to the right, you'll turn on the right turn signal; if they are turned to the left, you'll turn on the left turn signal. And finally, check that there are no oncoming vehicles to which we may need to yield the right of way, and to do so, we'll definitely have to turn our heads, right and left. If everything is fine, we can set off, but we'll need to carefully check the area behind the vehicle. To do this, we'll need to turn around and look behind us, as well as the area alongside the vehicle. To do this, we'll use the mirrors, but we'll also turn our heads, especially to cover areas that can't be seen with the mirror, and also to better understand the distance from any obstacles and lines. When reversing, we'll keep both hands on the steering wheel; there's no need to place the right hand behind the passenger seat and the left hand on the top center of the steering wheel, as is done when reversing for a long time. We'll stop once we reach the edge of the road, taking care not to cross it. We'll then prepare the car to set off again, doing for the third and final time what we've already seen: we'll turn the wheels to the left, this time, put it in first gear, activate the left turn signal, and finally check that we can move off, observing the road and verifying that there are no vehicles approaching from either the right or the left. If there are no vehicles approaching to yield to, we can move off, paying attention to the clutch release and the steering wheel technique. #undoing #drivingtest #license
