Fred Dibnah - His Engines - A 'Moving' Story (Tribute)
Fred Dibnah was a unique character of the British Landscape - As a steeplejack he was sometimes responsible for changing it! But he was also a conservationist, of steam engines, steel and tools. Some say Fred was born to late and would have thrived in the Victorian era. I believe Fred was born at just the right time, to preserve a dying and easily forgotten part of British heritage in a computer and cadcam age. Always a pleasure to work with, Fred's legacy remains a testament to the industrial age and all those who strive to protect the assets. #freddibnah #steamengines #tractionengines
