The village of Ishikiri, which we visited this time, will be virtually closed by 2022, when all the households will have left the village. Until now, we have visited places where the villages have already been closed and learned about their history. This time, we were able to actually hear the stories of the residents in a village that is on the verge of being closed. I think it was a valuable experience that we have never had before.
