The 95 Libyans protest bad living, food conditions regarding their religion
The 95 Libyans who were nabbed at the end of July, made their second appearance at the White River Magistrates Court on 05 August 2024. The accused claim they are given non-halaal food – which is against their faith - at the Barberton correctional centre. They are accused of contravening the Immigration Act.
