The Suzuki GT250X7 was the first 100mph 250 in the 1970's due to being lighter than the other 250's of the era but it's title was short lived as Yamaha came out with the Watercooled RD series and that put the nail in the coffin for the Aircooled X7. It also had a smaller brother in the form of the 200cc X5.
