Inside the WIDEST Windmill in England! 🇬🇧 | Old Buckenham Windmill Norfolk Open Day

Join us for a look inside a true piece of Norfolk history! In this video, we’re visiting the Old Buckenham Windmill during one of their fantastic public open days. Built all the way back in 1818, this Grade II* listed tower mill holds a massive claim to fame: it has the largest diameter tower and widest cap of any windmill in the country! 🌾✨ We got to climb up the five-storey tower, check out the incredible restoration work done by the Norfolk Windmills Trust, and chat with the lovely volunteers who keep this history alive. Oh, and of course, we had to stop for some brilliant homemade cakes and tea! ☕🍰 If you're looking for a great weekend day out in the Norfolk countryside, we highly recommend keeping an eye out for their next open day.
