Todd Rundgren - "Can't Stop Running" on Night Music

Todd appeared on the October 29, 1989 episode of the short-lived music television show Night Music. He performed three songs: "Can't Stop Running" and "Parallel Lines" from his new album, Nearly Human, and a surprise rendition of a number from the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta, H.M.S. Pinafore (assisted by Taj Mahal and Michele Gray)! Also appearing on backup vocals is Todd's longtime friend and fellow Utopian, Kasim Sulton. The house band included such great players as Omar Hakim (drums), Tom Barney (bass), Hiram Bullock (guitar), Don Alias (percussion), Philippe Saisse (keyboards), and host David Sanborn (saxophone.)
