Welcome back to another video from my Mulki surfing series, where I share everything you can experience in this amazing town in Karnataka. As many of you know, Mulki is known as the surfing capital of India, attracting people who want to learn surfing from all over the country to learn this thrilling sport. I recently spent a month in Mulki, and even after that, I feel like there's still so much more to discover. In this video, I want to share what you can expect to learn during your first 3 days of taking surfing lessons in Mulki, based on my own experience with Indica Surf School. Day 1: Catching your first wave! On my very first day of surfing, I dove right into the basics. My instructor taught me about the anatomy of a surfboard, essential surfing techniques like riding a wave, and the fundamentals of catching one. And guess what? No boring theory lessons here! Within half an hour of arriving at the beach, we were already in the water, putting what we learned into practice. I'm proud to say that by the end of the day, I even managed to catch my first ever wave! Days 2 and 3: Diving deeper into the world of surfing Over the next couple of days, we delved deeper into the world of surfing. We covered topics like paddling techniques, perfecting the pop-up maneuver, reading the waves, and knowing the right moment to catch them. All the while, we were continuously applying these concepts in the water, gaining valuable practical experience. Remember, surfing is a journey, not a destination. Here's the point I want to emphasize: surfing is a proper sport, and like any sport, it takes time and dedication to master. Don't be discouraged if you don't become a pro surfer overnight. Put in the time, practice consistently, and you'll gradually improve, eventually catching those epic waves like a true pro! But if you want to flex in front of your friends, booking 5-7 day course would work wonders.
