HEF 21st Century Zoo 2026 Family Engagement 3min

Our 21st Century program recently enjoyed a day of learning and connection at the Metro Richmond Zoo! Thanks to grant funding, students, families, and teachers were able to spend the day exploring animals from all over the world, asking questions, and sharing new experiences together. From up-close animal encounters to moments of discovery, it was a day full of curiosity, joy, and community. We are grateful to help make opportunities like this possible and to see our students learning beyond the classroom.
