Wildlife Rescue in the Cambodian Jungle!

How does someone turn from a wildlife poacher into a wildlife warrior? Hi, it's JJ and I have just arrived at the Wildlife Release Station deep in the Cardamom Mountains of Cambodia! The WRS is home to a variety of amazing and endangered Cambodian species including Sun Bears, Hornbills, Pangolins and more and the aim is to release these guys, who were often victims of illegal poaching, back out into the wild! Amazingly, the staff at the centre were all ex poachers themselves but are now fighting tooth and claw to protect the animals and the forest. This destination is pretty tough to get to and not for the faint hearted, but if you love adventure travel, jungle trekking, wildlife and heading out into the wilderness it is a must visit destination.
