Solo Hiking & Wild Camping the Isle of Wight Coastal Path - Day 1
Solo hiking and wild camping the Isle of Wight coastal path which is a 70 mile loop around the Isle of Wight. I started day 1 off very close to where I got off the ferry in East Cowes and started the 70 mile loop at a post with a coastal path sign on it. I made my way along an 8 mile road section to the town of Ryde where the coast path meets the sea. The weather was unsettled but the scenery was awesome. I hiked with another hiker called David for a few miles and we shared some hiking stories which was a lot of fun. I headed through Bembridge and up over Culver Cliff and into the towns of Sandown and Shanklin. This was a big urban section and I was racing the light to get past these towns and find somewhere to wild camp. Thanks for watching.
