This Long Range Swarm Killing Build Turns Tyranids into Target Practice- Space Marine 2 Heavy Class
True Solo Absolute Cape Grind Challenge Run 8/50. In this build, I'm running the Deathwatch Heroic Bolt Rifle alongside the Heroic Plasma Pistol. While the Deathwatch Bolt Rifle offers excellent versatility, it falls a little behind some of the other primary weapons when it comes to raw damage output and ammo efficiency. To compensate for that weakness, I've paired it with the Heroic Plasma Pistol, which delivers devastating burst damage against priority targets and clustered enemies. For perks, I'm using Thermal Boost, which increases ranged damage by 15% whenever your weapon is 50% overheated or falls below 50% ammo. This provides a noticeable damage boost throughout the mission and helps maximize the effectiveness of both weapons. If you prefer a more durable setup, you can swap Thermal Boost for Fortitude, which increases your maximum health by 30%. Build Tip Whenever possible, start engagements from range with the Heroic Plasma Pistol before closing the distance. The Deathwatch Bolt Rifle has a balanced parry window, which can make dealing with large groups of Sword and Whip Warriors a bit more demanding compared to weapons with a fencing parry window. The build also benefits from several powerful damage buffs. The Bolt Rifle's Remote Threat perk increases ranged damage by 20% against targets more than 20 metres away. On top of that, eliminating seven enemies in rapid succession activates Rampage, granting an additional 25% ranged damage for 10 seconds. The ideal combat loop is to thin out the enemy horde with charged plasma shots from a safe distance, activate your damage buffs, and then use the Deathwatch Bolt Rifle to efficiently clean up anything that survives. Played correctly, this setup delivers strong horde clear, excellent priority-target damage, and enough versatility to handle almost any threat the Hive Mind throws at you.
