It is a good deed to extend the reward or reward for a deceased Muslim. According to the Hadith, there are some ways through which the deceased can benefit. It is possible to benefit a beloved deceased in various ways, including Sadaqah Jariyah, supplication, recitation of the Quran, and the rulings of Hajj or Umrah. A man asked: “My mother died suddenly, will it benefit her if I give Sadaqah on her behalf?” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Yes.” (Bukhari: 1388) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever dies and has a fast due, his guardian will fast on his behalf.” (Sahih Sahih Bukhari) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Being kind to one’s friends after his death is from the best of good deeds towards one’s father.” (Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2552) A woman came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked: "Hajj was obligatory upon my mother, but she died before she could perform it. Can I perform Hajj on her behalf?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes, perform Hajj on her behalf. If your mother had a debt, would you not have paid it? So paying the debt of Allah is more obligatory." -(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 1852) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end, except for three: 1. Ongoing charity, 2. Knowledge that benefits people, and 3.
