Broken BOP IT EXTREME 2 Playing FAST!!! WHY???

Here we have a very popular skill game called Bop It Extreme 2 but this one is faulty. I purchased it from eBay because the description said it was playing fast and has battery corrosion. Why has the fast speech happened? Why has battery corrosion caused the game to speed up. Let's see why and if it can be fixed.
