How to replace a broken Astro Van window.

Here's how I replaced the broken window on my 1999 Chevy Astro Van. I came back to my car after hanging out on the river one day and my rear quarter side panel was smashed with a huge hole in it. If it was thieves, luckily, they didn't steal anything. I'm not ruling out the possibility that it could have been an accident from a stray rock, but regardless it left me with a hole in the window. After calling my insurance company, they set me up an appoint with Safelite. Safelite said the window was on backorder and after a month or so they called and said it actually wasn't on back order and they the window was out of production. That left me with either ordering one online (Ebay was about $400 without shipping) or heading to a Pick and Pull to cut one out of an old van. And I did just that. Here's a great video I used as a guide for pulling the window    • How to remove rear quaterglass windows   Here's what I used to install the window.
