Making the Collection - The Butler Family Collection of 17th Century Chinese Porcelain
Sir Michael Butler describes how he set about making the world's finest collection of 17th Century Chinese Porcelain over 50 years from 1960. The film was made in 2012, a year before Sir Michael's death in the museum he built specially to house it in 2009. The collection is now due to be broken up and dispersed on the insistence of his eldest daughter Caroline Butler, a Trustee of the Art Fund.
