PoJK Erupts as Protester Killed Amid Crackdown Pakistan Rangers Accused of Opening Fire

Tensions have escalated in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) after one protester was reportedly killed and several others injured during demonstrations against the reported crackdown on the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC). The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) PoJK unit and JAAC have accused Pakistani Rangers and police of opening fire and using shelling against peaceful protesters, allegations that Pakistani authorities had not immediately commented on.
