The Forgotten Cwm of the Beacons!
A 3 to 4 hour walk up the secluded and lonely Cwm Llysiog surely one of the most unfrequented Cwm's in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The walk initially follows good forestry tracks to the base of the Cwm area. There are some faint paths in places as you follow the left bank up the cwm but most of the walk up the cwm there are no paths. At the head of the cwm are two large waterfalls around 4m in height. There is a track as marked on OS Maps back across the wide expanse of Waun Wen moorland back to the start with good views in all directions. If you like exploring the quieter areas of the Beacons then this walk is for you. #beacons #hiking #hillwalking
