4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not behave rudely, it does not seek its own advantage, it does not get angry, it does not think evil. 6 It does not rejoice in injustice, but rejoices with the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. Prophecies will cease, tongues will cease, and knowledge will cease. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 When the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I understood like a child, I thought like a child. But when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see dimly, as in a mirror; but then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; but then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known by God. 13 So now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
