Lied the future Academy 2023 - Christoph Prégardien, Wolfram Rieger and Dorothea Röschmann

Lied the Future is a programme for the support of young European talents in the field of art song and chamber music. Through this initiative, the Franz Schubert Association is strengthening its educational endeavours, which it launched in 1994 with the International Course of Lied and further expanded as from 2018 with the Academy of the Schubertíada. Lied the Future also bolsters the debut concerts of young artists within the framework of the Schubertíada, taking advantage of our festival’s renown in order to help these gifted musicians enter the national and international concert circuits. Jonas Müller and Anna Gebhardt, and Katja Maderer and Amadeus Wiesensee were the duos fellow mentored by tenor Christoph Pregardien in 2022, while Mireia Tarragó and Carmen Santamaria, and Elionor Martínez and Olivia Zaugg were mentored by soprano Dorothea Röschmann and pianist Wolfram Rieger. Lied the Future is a project of the Franz Schubert Association in collaboration with the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation and Banco Sabadell Foundation.
