Compared to other behemoths launched by BioWare such as Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, Jade Empire was often left in the dust despite being fantastic. It casts a wide net by toying with martial arts, being a love letter to the history of China, adding mythical elements, and even crazy mini games.
