Kienzle German Library Bim Bam Chime Grandfather Clock
This is my newest (and oldest) grandfather clock that I got from my friend Steve Karlin, who worked at KCCI until his retirement two years ago. This clock has some history to it. Steve told me that his uncle was in the military in the 1950s and apparently was given to him as a gift after his service days. It was in the family for decades. I found a few minor issues when I first got it. The chains were out of alignment, the weights were in the wrong places, and the ticking was out of beat. I managed to get all three issues fixed, and the clock works like a champ again. It may or may not need to be serviced in the future, but for now, I'm going to enjoy it while it's in my possession. And Steve Karlin, this one's for you.
