Inside One of the Worst Hoarder Houses We’ve Ever Bought | Davis Square Transformation

What do you do when you find one of the worst hoarder houses you've ever seen? You look beyond the clutter and see the potential. In this throwback project tour, we're taking you inside a property we purchased several years ago—a true "hoarder house" packed floor-to-ceiling with trash and debris. While the condition was overwhelming, the structure had great bones, and the location made it an incredible redevelopment opportunity. Our plan was to take the home down to the studs while preserving the existing shell and footprint, completely reimagining the interior into a stunning four-level single-family residence with a finished basement, updated outdoor living space, and a fresh new layout built for modern living. This project is a great reminder that some of the best opportunities aren't always the prettiest on day one. Sometimes, the houses everyone else overlooks become the ones with the biggest upside. 📍Located near Davis Square with a Cambridge zip code, this property checked all the boxes for a remarkable transformation—and we're excited to share a look back at where it all began.
