But on Baranova Street, there was a truly outrageous case: at 6 p.m., plumbers from this company arrived at an apartment building for a routine inspection of the in-house gas equipment. The doors to some apartments were not opened for them. Oleg Pavlovich, among others, was unable to open the doors—he is disabled and needs time to fasten his prosthesis. But he later caught up with the gas workers at the entrance to his apartment building: they saw he was wearing a prosthetic leg, he explained everything to them, asking them to come back and check the gas equipment in his apartment. They ignored him, simply shutting off the gas to the entire building and leaving at 6:30—apparently, the workday was ending. OblGazEnergoMontazh declined to comment on this situation, but Gazprom Gas Distribution Nizhny Novgorod intervened: OblGazEnergoMontazh is a contractor for Gazprom Gas Distribution Nizhny Novgorod.
