June 14 2026 Sermon, "Crying Out to God for Help and Direction", Psalm 4

When life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or filled with opposition, Psalm 4 reminds us that God invites us to cry out to Him. David begins with a desperate prayer for help, trusting that God hears and answers His people. Rather than giving in to fear, anger, or anxiety, we are called to bring our burdens to the Lord, rest in His faithfulness, and trust in His protection. True peace is not found in changing circumstances but in God's presence. Because the Lord watches over His children, we can lie down and sleep in confidence, knowing that He alone makes us dwell in safety. Psalm 4 teaches us that when we cry out to God, we find comfort, joy, and security in His unfailing care.
