Chasing the CSXT Western Maryland Heritage Locomotive #1852 on Sunday, July 12, 2026 (Part 1 of 2)
I was fortunate enough on this Sunday morning to have a successful and short chase of the Western Maryland in charge of southbound merchandise train M647 (Chicago, IL - Waycross, GA) down the Fitzgerald Sub. He was a very long one with 3 on the head-end and a mid-train EMD helping out in DP mode. This specific scene occurred in downtown Talbotton at 9:58AM.
