ZERO COST, upcycled patio gate. Useless to Useful

Why buy a brand-new gate when you can build one for free? In this project, I fitted a second-hand metal gate using upcycled fencing, reclaimed timber, and a few bits I already had lying around. With a bit of planning, problem-solving, and creative thinking, I managed to build a strong, secure patio gate without spending a penny. This is exactly what Useless to Useful is all about—giving unwanted materials a second life instead of sending them to landfill. If you’ve got a pile of “that might come in handy one day” materials, hopefully this project gives you some inspiration to turn them into something useful.
