VISITING HEGRA (MADAIN SALEH in ALULA): A secret wonder of the Saudi Arabia!

This is the incredible ancient Kingdom of Hegra (Madain Saleh) in the AlUla region of Saudi Arabia! It truly is spectacular. If you've visited or seen pictures of Petra in Jordan then these images of Hegra may look familiar... And that is because Hegra is a sister-city to Petra which was the capital of the ancient Nabatean Kingdom! It was fascinating to visit and learn about - and very interesting to visit by bus with so few tourists (less than 15 of us!).
