The video is about tshigombela dance of the Venda people in South Africa, Limpopo province, Vhembe district, Vhuri-vhuri village. Tshigombela is an indigenous dance of the Venda people. The video was recorded in 2019 as part and parcel of the ethnographic research by Gwerevende Solomon in fulfilment of the Choreomundus International Master Degree in Dance Knowledge, Practice and Heritage.
