Is it really an upgrade? Today I’m riding the *Hero Xpulse 210* test ride model, and this video is all about my honest first impressions. Right from the start, it’s obvious that the 210 feels more powerful compared to my Xpulse 200. The gear shifting is smooth, the clutch is light, and the overall riding experience feels refined. The stance of the motorcycle is strong and confident, and the rider’s triangle feels comfortable and natural. Compared to my 200, this one gives me a more planted feeling. I do feel the weight is slightly more than the 200, but I’ll have to check the exact numbers. That said, the weight distribution feels well-balanced. From a design perspective, the bike looks more appealing and chunkier. The front section, beak, rail guard, and especially the handle guard look much better than the older version. It definitely has more road presence. Braking feels typically Hero – slightly on the softer side. I believe this bike also comes with riding modes, though I was trying to figure that out during the ride. Since this is a test ride model, I can’t really complain about minor noises. I did notice a slight sound from somewhere, possibly a loose part, but nothing major. In terms of vibrations, when I stretched the bike, I didn’t feel any significant vibrations on the handlebar or footpegs, which is a positive sign. The exhaust note also sounds nice. Seat comfort is impressive. My feet are properly planted on the ground. On my Xpulse 200, I had modified the seat, which caused slight tip-toe reach. But here, it feels comfortable and stable at the same time. Now coming to the power difference – while it is more powerful, it’s not an extreme jump from 18 to 25 PS where you feel a dramatic transformation. So, if someone already owns the Xpulse 200 and is thinking of upgrading to the 210, I don’t think it’s a very compelling upgrade purely from a power perspective. However, if this is your first ADV bike, or you’re buying your first motorcycle, and you enjoy touring, occasional off-roading, and city commuting, then in this price range, the Xpulse 210 feels like a smart and versatile choice. Honestly, I feel this is how the Xpulse should have been from the beginning, rather than coming in later iterations. Overall, the bike feels more confident, more refined, and better designed. These are my initial impressions from the test ride — a detailed review will follow soon! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Instagram - / chasinghorizons6220 #xpluse200 #firstride #review
