Total Teardown: Subaru EJ253 SOHC 2.5L Core/Bad Engine. What Will We Find Inside?

Hi, My name is Eric and I own and run a niche market auto salvage business in the Saint Louis area called Importapart. Part of our model is selling parts from core or blown engines. In this video, I completely dismantle a Subaru EJ253 from what I believe was a 2009-2010 Forester. Variants of this engine is found in just about every Subaru model from the early 2000's to the mid 2010's. I don't normally do a ton of Subaru parts but because of the uniqueness of their design a felt a Subaru engine video would be prudent. This particular engine had relatively low value in parts, but I had a lot of fun taking it apart regardless.
