Hey everyone, and welcome back to Satisfactory! Today we're starting a project I'm probably already regretting: quartz refining. Quartz sand sounds harmless enough... until you realize that raw quartz, limestone, water, nitric acid, nitrogen gas, iron plates, conveyor belts, pipes, and vehicles all have to work together somehow. We end up with a massive amount of quartz sand and a good amount of quartz crystals as a bonus. Sounds good, right? But logistically, it's an absolute nightmare. Before we get started, we need to sort out our fuel supply for the vehicles because, of course, I forgot to finish connecting the line. Then it's off to the calculator to plan the production and build the first layout for the quartz refining process. So today's episode involves planning, swearing, building, and a lot of doubt about pipes and conveyor belts.
