Originally, I only planned to arrange "Presentiment of Massacre ~ Banquet of Massacre." However, I fell in love with the chorus phrases in "Battle Chorus" and couldn't resist blending them in. Personally, I think the transition turned out pretty smooth! About this Arrangement: • Lyrics: I transcribed them as accurately as possible. I tried a vertical layout for the alphabet—it might be a bit tricky to read for English speakers (sorry!), but since it’s a made-up language anyway, I hope you enjoy the aesthetic! • Intro: For "Presentiment," I wanted a "broken music box" vibe, so I added some intentional noise and lo-fi textures. • Piano & Orchestra: From the "Banquet" section onwards, the piano goes absolutely wild! I’ve added a lot of original piano fills. Also, since the original track didn't have woodwinds, I added them myself. The flute ended up being quite the scene-stealer! • Vocals: This was by far the hardest part. The range is crazy—from super high to super low—and there are 6 vocal layers in total! I spent most of my time recording and processing them. I definitely need to go back to vocal training... I used to take lessons, but honestly, I consider myself an arranger first, not a vocalist! There’s no doubt that the Keiichi Okabe x YOKO TARO tag-team is absolute perfection.
