Railster - CyberFrog [FastBlaster EP]

🇬🇧 This time I sampled from a resource tied to electronic world music. The original track had synthetic sounds, icy basses, to which I added a few layers from the Casio CZ-5000 — mainly a small lead motif that shyly proposes itself with an almost clumsy, timid character. While putting these elements together, combining them by feel, I could hear frogs singing near the studio, and I thought they were in tune, that they could sit well alongside everything else — especially for the dichotomy it created. After sampling their croaking, I pitched it into scale somehow, and interspersed it with the Casio phrases. It doesn't come across as a frog in context — it blends in well, and the result makes me smile. 🇮🇹 Questa volta ho campionato da una risorsa legata alla musica elettronica world music. Il brano originale aveva dei suoni sintetici, bassi gelidi, ai quali ho aggiunto qualche layer proveniente dal Casio CZ-5000, principalmente per un piccolo lead motiv, che timidamente si propone con un carattere quasi goffo e timido. Nel mettere questi elementi assieme, combinandoli a senso, sentivo delle rane cantare vicino allo studio, e pensavo fossero in tono, e potessero starci bene assieme, soprattutto per la dicotomia che si andava a creare. Dopo aver campionato il canto di queste le ho messe in scala, in qualche modo, e intervallate ai fraseggi del Casio.
