We promised to return for the official opening — and that day has finally come! 🎉 After years of hard work and anticipation, Split's largest beach has a brand-new look and it's finally open to the public. Stages were being assembled. Sound checks echoed across the promenade. The beach was almost ready to welcome the crowd. In the heart of the promenade, a special open-air installation tells the story — from a once neglected shoreline to a place that helped shape Split's summer identity. 🏖️ Although the official opening was June 21st, tourists and locals have been enjoying the beach for more than a month. Here's what's now open at Žnjan: • Brand-new waterpark floating offshore — a favorite for kids and teens • Colorful children's playgrounds full of life • Basketball courts and futsal fields • A brand-new skatepark drawing in skaters and spectators • Beach volleyball courts — the most popular spot of the day! • Underground parking garage and surface lots • Shuttle buses connecting Žnjan with Split city center 🍽️ Most beach amenities are now open, although restaurants and bars are still under final preparation. We hope to see them launch later this summer. 🎭 As evening approached, the atmosphere shifted — the grand celebration began!
