And almost no one knows what is in the capital of the king. Here Danylo Halytsky built his capital - nineteen years before Lviv. Here the city resisted the Mongols. Here, according to the chronicle, lies the only crowned king of Rus. And in 1918 Kholm was part of the Ukrainian People's Republic. Today, all of Ukraine passes through this city.
