I recently flew Jet2 from London Stansted to Fuerteventura on a beautiful summer morning, onboard one of their Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Operated by the UK's favorite holiday airline: Jet2.com. I have to say it was an incredibly smooth and beautiful flight, starting with a fast walkthrough of the recently refurbished Stansted security hall. A nice highlight was catching a Cargolux Boeing 747-8F taxi and takeoff while still on the ground at Stansted! Our flight path gave us stunning, crystal-clear views of southern Portugal as we cruised high over the gorgeous Algarve region and Cape St. Vincent, followed by a beautiful approach cutting through the Atlantic haze as Fuerteventura came into view.
