Specialized Rockhopper Upgrades - Rockshox Judy Silver TK Fork

The first round for my hardtail upgrades were for contact points: a shorter reach stem, better flat pedals, and adjustable seat height. The second round consists of just one upgrade, but it's a pretty good one. I replaced the stock SR Suntour XCT sprung fork with a Rockshox Judy Silver TK air fork. I got the fork for just $169.00 from Worldwide Cyclery, with whom I am very pleased. The installation was a pretty straightforward process. The only thing that made me pause was the initial cut in shortening the steerer tube. Once you make that cut, you are committed! All in all, this was an easy and budget friendly upgrade.
