Video Straight to Gaussian Splats - in Houdini

Testing NVIDIA's Lyra-2 inside Houdini with the help of an HDA that i've built, that turns a regular 2D video into Gaussian Splats using NVIDIA Lyra 2. The goal is not just to generate a splat, but to make the process easy and natural inside Houdini: load a video, run reconstruction, import the result, create a camera, and continue working directly in the 3D scene. This was tested with casual handheld iPhone footage. No LiDAR, no special resolution — just 1080p straightforward video-to-3D reconstruction inside Houdini. The result becomes a usable 3D canvas for CG, particles, rain, destruction, set extensions, camera projections, or any other procedural experiments.
