Create Cliff Drops Using Sprite Sheet Swapping & Animation States in GB Studio 3.1

Learn how to create Zelda-looking cliff drops using Triggers, Sprite Sheet Swapping, Animation States, Wait, Actor Move Relative and Movement Speed. This adds a bit more flavor than just moving the player to the desired tile, and serves as a solid foundation for further customization as you see fit. As mentioned in the video, there are a ton of other things I have learned in the past month that I would be happy to share. Here are a few topics: • Cutscenes • Swimming / Climbing and how to swap between them automatically • Attack animations and using a script to "equip" and "unequip" as needed • Swapping between multiple attack types during gameplay • Block puzzles as part of a quest • Zelda style menu with equip-able icons • Animating background waterfalls, waves, etc. • Animated Dungeon Entrance Reveals And I am currently working on how to swap sprite sheets to go behind layers to create depth as well as to make secret areas (kind of like original Super Mario, where you could hold down on the block then be able to run behind the scenery). If any of the above topics are more interesting and useful for you right now, please let me know and I will put that at the top of the list of videos to make. Let me know if you have any other questions, I am currently learning myself so let's figure this thing out! SHOOTS!
