Types of Single Subject Research Designs
There are numerous types of single-subject designs. All designs involve repeated measurements during baseline and intervention phases and a comparison across phases as evidence of intervention effects. However, the designs differ in the number of phases involved, the number of intervention applied and the number of baselines employed. The most important differences are in the internal validity of the designs.
