Mother Uma asks Mahadev, "You have given Andhakasura infallible powers, making him very powerful. Now, so that he does not use it against Goddess Ganga, please weaken the boon you have given him." Mahadev refuses, saying it would be unjust. Uma says, "If you don't do this, I can't help but protect Ganga." Mahadev asks Uma to protect Ganga. Andhakasura, having received his boon, goes to his guru, Shukracharya. Shukracharya, using his powers, grants Andhakasura a shield that even Indra Dev's thunderbolt will not break. Mother Uma reaches Ganga Maiya. Andhakasura, after receiving permission from his guru, sets out to attack heaven. Mother Uma comes to Ganga Maiya to protect her and becomes enraged upon seeing the demons. Hearing of Andhakasura's attack on heaven, the gods set out to fight the demons. The gods and demons come face to face, and a battle begins. Indra Dev attacks the demons, and Andhakasura assumes a gigantic form to retaliate. Indra Dev uses his thunderbolt to stop him, but Andhakasura's thunderbolt fails, so the gods flee. Andhakasura defeats the gods. Andhakasura reports his victory to his guru, Shukracharya, and promises to take Ganga Maiya with him to the underworld. After their defeat, the gods flee when they encounter Narada Muni, who advises them to seek refuge in Ganga Maiya. All the gods approach Ganga Maiya and ask her for protection. Ganga Maiya and Uma accept their request. To bring Ganga Maiya to him, Andhakasura sends his demon, Mishasur. He arrives and, seeing both Uma and Ganga Maiya, begs them to come with him. As he dives into the water to capture Ganga, Uma injures him with her power and throws him back to Andhakasura. The heaven shakes due to the fall of Andhakasura. Andhakasura, sensing the earthquake, comes out to see and is shocked to see his friend Mishasur lying injured. Andhakasura asks him who did all this and the latter is killed. After the death of Mishasur, Dev Guru Brihaspati comes again to convince Shukracharya to ask Andhakasura to leave heaven and come to Patal lok. Shukracharya is not satisfied with Brihaspati's words and does not stop Andhakasura from taking Ganga to Patal lok. Demons named Shirshasura and Kabandha come in front of Andhakasura who capture Ganga and go to bring her in front of Andhakasura. Shirshasur and Kabandha appear before Ganga Maiya and Mata Uma and try to forcibly take them to Andhakasura. Ganga Maiya tries to reason with them, but they refuse, so Mata Uma uses her powers to stop them. To kill the demons Shirshasur and Kabandha, who have come to capture Ganga Maiya, Mata Uma uses her divine form to kill them. Killing Shirshasur's torso and head was impossible while they were separate. As soon as Mata Uma suggests joining them together, Shirshasur flees and comes to Andhakasura and tells her everything. Hearing this, Andhakasura goes to Goddess Uma herself. Seeing Andhakasura approach, Mata Uma is determined to kill him. Ganga Maiya asks Mata Uma to give him a chance. Mata Uma tells Ganga that Andhakasura must be killed because he is causing chaos in the universe. Goddess Uma attaches Shirshasura's head to Kabandha's body and kills him. Ramanand Sagar presents - 'JAI GANGA MAIYA' based on the most revered and the only living goddess - GANGA. On repeated requests by the sole son of King Sagar, Kapil Muni finally changes his mind and says that King Sagar's sons would attain MUKTI only if their ashes are cleansed by the holy water of GODDESS GANGA. Generation after generation apologize to pacify BRAHMA but without success - and finally after music praying by BHAGIRATH - the seventh generation of King Sagar, GANGA reluctantly consents to descend to earth. To contain its powerful fall, LORD SHIVA steps in the way and lets the river tumble gently through his long hair onto the Himalayas.
